The story of Luciano Cigars begins with passion: for people, creativity, and the extraordinary flavor found in carefully crafted premium cigars. Originally a nonprofit, what would become Luciano Cigars began as an initiative to provide fair wage jobs in the community of Estelí, Nicaragua, manufacturing for other premium cigar brands. After falling in love with the process of cigar-making and its people, and building a respectable reputation as manufacturers, we decided to embark on a new journey launching Ace Prime Cigars in 2019.
The past three-years have been extraordinary for our brands, especially Luciano Cigars, in more ways than anyone imagined. At its inception, Ace Prime had partnered with Crowned Heads forming an alliance that proved to be an essential stepping stone during years of unprecedented growth. Today we see Luciano Cigars as the next phase for our company, now as an independent and fully vertical operation.
From growing and sourcing the best tobacco, to blending and producing award winning cigars, Luciano Cigars centralizes our operations under one name after building a respectable repute over the years.

Our Founders
Driven by the conviction to never settle in today’s successes, longtime friends and partners Luciano Meirelles and Tiago Splitter have come together to launch Luciano Cigars.
Luciano Meirelles, Co-Founder and CEO
After more than a decade in the industry, Luciano now directs Luciano Cigars, a fully vertically-integrated company from seed to smoke. The co-founder and namesake of our company leads with passion for premium cigars and the people who make them.
Having built his career as a highly successful serial entrepreneur and political consultant, Luciano’s name brings a commitment to working only at the highest standard of excellence. A cigar maker in every sense, Luciano now dedicates his life to the creativity, perseverance, and priceless principles that define the journey of blending an extraordinary cigar.
Tiago Splitter, Co-Founder
Besides being a co-founder of Luciano Cigars, Tiago Splitter is best known as the first Brazilian-born player to ever win an NBA championship in 2014 with the San Antonio Spurs. With an extraordinary career that spanned across continents, Luciano Cigars is proud to have Tiago Splitter now on our team.
After retiring from the Spurs, Tiago has now focused on his career as an assistant coach for the Brooklyn Nets and as a co-founder of our company. As a highly talented individual on and off the court, Tiago is an inspiring embodiment of grit, passion, and a commitment to always elevating the values that matter most.
Our Process
The journey of each and every one of our cigars begins and ends with people. From the hands that plant tobacco seeds, to those who package and deliver our cigars, we celebrate the sanctity of the cigar making process.
It is an honor to be able to say that our company is fully united and connected in every step of bringing a cigar to the hands of our consumers. The lifetime of every cigar begins with the quality leaves of tobacco we personally grow or source. Oftentimes fermenting and processing tobacco for years, each and every blend is created deliberately and patiently. Our co-founder and CEO Luciano Meirelles is our lead creative, working with members of our executive and sales teams to bring only the best end products to the consumers we also call family. From then on, all of our cigars are hand-rolled at the Luciano Cigars Factory in Esteli, Nicaragua, before being shipped for distribution to our warehouse in West Palm Beach, FL.
We honor all of the lives involved in this artisanal craft. To be cigar makers is a great opportunity and privilege we humbly treasure.
